HashCalc gives you the possibility of calculating a file's checksums and HMACs and more. You can retrieve a wide range of basic values from files or other sources and the best part is that it all takes only a few seconds. The application works fast and even a complete beginner can master its controls in no time.

HashCalc is distributed as a freeware application and it works on all modern Windows platforms. Its setup file takes up less than one MB, so you can download the software and install its core components in a few moments. It doesn't ask for any special tools or services and it doesn't use a significant amount of resources.

Loading a file and clicking a button, on the application's compact user interface, is all you have to do. The file's MD5, MD5, SHA1 and all other values will show up instantly in separate fields. By default, the application will show only a few of these values. If you want to see specific values, you have to click their corresponding check boxes.

Besides files, the software can also calculate the same kind of values for text and hex strings. Additionally, the application lets you add a HMAC key value of your choice, in text or Hex format.

Calculating all the basic values of any files can be done instantly, thanks to HashCalc efficient functionality.
